Learning to Trust Ourselves

It is ironic how so many people who I do readings for tend to view their reading as a validation of what they already know on some level but don’t quite trust. We tend to seek psychics to confirm our inner knowing more than having them tell us what we don’t know. In fact most of us who are very intuitive still seek psychics to validate our intuition.

I had a woman recently write to me who had been to some twenty different psychics looking for the answer to one question “What am I suppose to Be When I Grow Up!” But each answer was unsatisfactory because there was no psychic who would tell her. “Oh…you are supposed to be a doctor…go to medical school!” Or “You need to get your teaching degree and teach English!” And “If you follow this chosen route you WILL be successful!

Life is just not that predictable. I don’t care how accurate one’s psychic skills are, the energy of life is in a constant state of ebb and flow and nothing is carved in stone. We cannot predict life will unfold in a particular way. We can only see the potential and the possibilities as they look right in the moment.

We know if presented with three choices each choice will take us down a different road creating different results. The important thing is to make the choice that feels the strongest for you and walk down that road. If you are confused about which road is right for you, then perhaps working with a psychic could help you with clarification. But we must be careful not to give our power away to psychics or anyone else for that matter.

The more we trust ourselves the more empowered we become. The more we are able to make good solid decisions for our lives the stronger our lives are. The more we learn to dance to the beat of our own drummer the more passionate our experience of life can be.
